CPD follow-on courses

The principles of Rebound Therapy form the basis of all gymnastic movement, and for those who wish to further develop their teaching or coaching skills, 'Rebound Therapy dot org' offers a Continuing Professional Development pathway of add-on modules.

 

Rebound Therapy one-day Refresher Workshops

This workshop is recommended for:
  • Those who have previously completed a genuine Rebound Therapy course and would like to refresh and update their knowledge and teaching skills. (We recommend attendance on a refresher workshop at least once every three years.)
  • Those who have completed the Level 1 school or centre specific course and would like to upgrade to Level 2
  • Those who have completed a special needs trampolining course run by a recognised provider and who would like to refresh and learn Rebound Therapy skills.

Into Mainstream™

The "Into Mainstream" course is a two-day add-on module for those who have already completed a genuine Rebound Therapy staff training course.

It is designed to equip candidates to help their more able students progress beyond Rebound Therapy and start the transition into mainstream trampolining exercises.

The course is run in-house for special needs schools and centres and as an open course in the same way as our Rebound Therapy courses.

Train the Trainers (school or centre specific)

This course is designed to equip and validate a member of staff to oversee all future basic Rebound Therapy staff training within their specified school or centre. (This is the level 3 qualification.)

It will enable the course member to train staff within their specified school or centre to lead basic Rebound Therapy sessions within that same specified school or centre. (The level 1 qualification.)

The course is open to those who have already successfully completed the standard 'level 2' Rebound Therapy staff training course as detailed on this website.
