BENEFITS OF THE TRAINING COURSE:
On completion of this training course, you will be awarded with the internationally recognised Rebound Therapy Practitioner certificate. This will enable and equip the candidate to provide Rebound Therapy sessions for the benefit of students and clients across virtually the whole spectrum of disabilities.
Depending on your profession, you will you be able to incorporate Rebound Therapy into your practice, offer it to your students in your SEN school, provide a worthwhile service to the community, and utilise your quiet times at your club, centre or park by providing sessions to local disability care groups, SN schools, PTs and OTs for their clients etc.
The training course covers many safety factors such as contra-indications, increased risk and precautions, safe practice, the use of structure and progressions. It also covers benefits, development programs and the measuring and recording of progress.
The training course comprises approximately 20 hours study and assessment. Most candidates complete the course and gain their qualification within two weeks.
The online programme comprises five steps:
1) Study of the reading material,
2) Study of the video of practical aspects, including development of programmes for PMLD and activities for ambulant students,
3) Study of the video of how to measure and record progress, and how to provide evidence of outcomes,
4) Completion of the theory assessment paper,
5) Practical assessment of key skills, by video. (You will be asked to get someone to film you on a mobile phone while you demonstrate the teaching points of some key skills.)
You will be allocated your own personal course tutor who will guide you through the training course and who will be available to you at any time for help and guidance.
COURSE COST:
£225 (GBP) plus vat for those who already hold a Gymnastics, Trampoline, Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy qualification. The course code for this version of the course is AS-COACH.
£294 (GBP) plus vat for those who do not already hold a qualification as above. The course code for this version of the course is AS_STANDARD. It is a little more comprehensive than the course for those who already have an associated qualification.
Either option (AS_Standard or AS_Coach) will gain the candidate the internationally recognised Rebound Therapy Practitioner certificate upon completion.
