Since 2011 a framework for participation and competition events for people across a wide range of disabilities and additional needs has been available from the ReboundTherapy.org website. This was developed by a team of dedicated Rebound Therapy Tutors and Practitioners who joined forces to develop a way to make competitions more inclusive for people with complex physical and / or learning needs.
This programme includes participation and celebration opportunities for everyone, including people
with profound and complex needs - these
competitions really are fully inclusive.
The competitions comprise exercises and routines taken from the Winstrada trampoline development plan.
The categories range from Grade 1 to Grade 8. See below for routines.
Grades 1 and 2 are regarded as 'participation opportunity and
celebration events' for those with profound or complex needs. Physical and verbal support is permitted as necessary.
There is no limit to the number of bounces or repetitions of moves.

Competition organisers may at their discretion also accept entries from trampoline coaches who have completed
a recognised mainstream trampolining course providing they have also completed the Rebound Therapy Practitioner training
course and can show adequate experience in working with people with disabilities.
If you organise an inclusive trampoline competition for people with disabilities / SEN at your school, club or centre,
please let us know to enable us to assist with promoting the event via our newsletter and social media. We will also be happy to share any celebratory post-event content you may wish to send us, to encourage others to run a similar event. Please email: info@reboundtherapy.org
